Cross Media Convergence & Synergy: Batman
As you can see I have shown the media convergences of Batman and how the film advertises it products thought the other types of products such as clothing toys and shoes. This is done so the film can attack more viewers and make them watch it. It also that one product can influence on one person’s opinions. For the film lovers this will persuade them to go and buy products related to the Batman film. Synergy is shown when Batman is working in collaboration with another brand e.g: in macdonalds the happy meal comes with a toy now if Batman is in partnership with macdonalds then the batman toy will be in the happy meals. This is shown to be a benefit to both companies by the batman film being advertised and the macdonalds food being sold.
